Members of government, the academia, the private sector and civil society were invited to discuss the findings of the Tunisia working paper and recommend further action.

The issues discussed included the need for the faster implementation of "second generation" reforms focusing around the improvement of the administrative, legal, and regulatory functions of the state. They also examined the issue of human capital as one of the determining factors of international competitiveness.
