Mali National Workshop
Bamako, 9-10 January, 2002
This page

meeting.
Members of government, the academia, the
private sector and civil society were invited to discuss the findings of
the Mali working paper and recommend further action.
They agreed
to a national action plan, which includes measures for trade expansion and
capacity building, as well as for the simplification of the business
environment, investment promotion, support for SMEs and micro-finance and
development of a communications infrastructure.
